On a sunny day Harrison Hot Springs is spectacular. The views include giant rocky mountains, a stunning lake surrounded by forests and hills and long sandy beaches. The lake itself is by far the largest one in the Lower Mainland.
The town is located about a 90-minute drive east of Vancouver and about half an hour northeast of Chilliwack.
Harrison Hot Springs is one of our favourite destinations for when we want to escape the city but not travel too far. It’s a great place to visit any time of the year. The place offers a wide range of water-based activities in the summer, hiking opportunities year-round and a ski hill close by in the winter.
